Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has been included in the travelling party for Real Madrid’s La Liga meeting with Real Sociedad on Friday night.
As much was announced across the club’s social media platforms earlier today, with the Englishman having taken the place of Rodrygo, who drops out for the trip to Anoeta:
Bellingham, for his part, was initially omitted from Real’s squad list bound for San Sebastián.
This came with the midfielder having been suffering with a bout of gastroenteritis.
So, what exactly changed over the last 24 hours, to culminate in Bellingham being called up to face Real Sociedad?
As per a report from The Athletic’s Guillermo Rai, the 20-year-old this morning made contact with boss Carlo Ancelotti, to request his last-minute inclusion for Friday night.
This comes with Bellingham, after missing group training on Thursday, having enjoyed a solid night’s rest, culminating in his recovery from illness.
