This came as Arda Güler was included in Xabi Alonso’s XI.
The latest edition of Spanish football’s biggest rivalry is of course set to play out in short order.
As much comes as Barcelona and Real Madrid prepare to lock horns in the finale of the Supercopa de España in Saudi Arabia.
The latter head into the matchup with revenge in mind, after being made short work of by Barca in last year’s final.
In efforts towards as much, it initially appeared as though the aforementioned Arda Güler would be afforded the chance to contribute from the off.
This came as the following line-up was announced by Real:
Shortly after, however, it was revealed that Arda’s inclusion was an error.
Instead, it is Gonzalo García who has been chosen to lead the line for the evening, giving rise to the following Blancos XI:
