La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Sunday announced a fresh blow on the personnel front in the club’s first-team ranks.
This comes amid confirmation of Dani Ceballos facing up to an incoming spell on the treatment table.
Real Madrid were of course back in action on Saturday evening, making the trip to El Sadar for a meeting with Osasuna.
When all was said and done, Los Blancos were condemned to a damaging 2-1 defeat, putting a dent in the club’s La Liga title hopes.
The aforementioned Dani Ceballos played his part in the fixture, emerging from the bench during the 2nd-half in Pamplona.
As alluded to above, though, during his cameo, the former Arsenal man suffered an injury setback.
As per a statement across Real Madrid’s website and social media platforms:
‘After the tests carried out today on our player Dani Ceballos by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the soleus of his right leg. Pending evolution.’
