Real Madrid already have their first signing of 2026 in the bag

La Liga giants Real Madrid are all set to bring Nico Páz back to the club from Serie A outfit Como next summer.

This comes amid confirmation that the decision has been made to activate the 21-year-old’s buyback clause.

Youngster Páz has for his part taken his place centre stage in the chatter in Spain’s capital once more over the last 24 hours.

This comes with the Argentine international fresh off his latest starring performance in the colours of Como.

After finding the net in a 5-1 drubbing of Torino, Páz took his tally for the season to nine direct goal contributions in 12 Serie A appearances.

And such excellence, as alluded to above, has not gone at all unnoticed at the midfielder’s former club.

As per a report from transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano:

‘Real Madrid are planning to bring back Nico Páz as their first signing for 2026 as revealed months ago.’

Despite claims to the contrary in the media over recent days, this move will not be fast-tracked to the January window, but the Blancos faithful can look forward to seeing Páz back in their side’s colours for the 2026/27 campaign.
