Real Betis star set a personal record in win over Osasuna

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga outfit Real Betis on Sunday secured for himself a personal goalscoring benchmark.

This came by way of his exploits in the club’s meeting with Osasuna.

Betis were of course back in action yesterday evening, welcoming Osasuna to Sevilla for a La Liga clash.

And when all was said and done in the 90, the Verdiblancos emerged on the right side of a 2-0 result, to make it back-to-back three-point hauls in Spain’s top-flight.

Notching the goals on the evening were Ez Abde and Cucho Hernández.

And it is the latter of this pair who, in the process of finding the net, bagged a long-awaited personal benchmark in La Liga.

As revealed by statisticians Opta:

‘Juan Camilo Hernández has scored in three consecutive matches (three goals) for the first time in 101 La Liga appearances, becoming the Colombian with the most goals scored in Europe’s Top 5 Leagues in 2025 (eight, as Luis Díaz).’
