La Liga outfit Real Betis have on Wednesday been afforded a boost on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Diego Llorente has returned to group training alongside the rest of Manuel Pellegrini’s squad.
Defender Llorente – an ever-present at the heart of Betis’ backline this season – was forced into a premature departure from the club’s latest outing.
En route to a 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo, the former Leeds United man pulled up with a muscular concern, before being hauled off as a precaution.
Llorente had since remained absent from training at Ciudad Deportiva Luis Del Sol as a result.
As alluded to above, though, this morning, the 31-year-old was welcomed back into the group dynamic by Pellegrini and his coaching staff.
As much has been confirmed by Mundo Deportivo.
The expectation is that Llorente will, in turn, be given the medical green light to play his part against Valencia this weekend.
