La Liga outfit Real Betis expect to welcome midfield standout Isco back into the matchday fold for their upcoming meeting with Girona.
This comes with the Spanish international having now fully recovered from his latest long-term injury.
Isco was for his part condemned to a fresh spell on the sidelines back in August, after suffering a fractured fibula.
The former Real Madrid man spent recent weeks ramping up his recovery efforts, with a view to taking his place back on the grass ahead of schedule.
And if the latest word stemming from Seville late this week is anything to go by, then such endeavours look set to bear imminent fruit.
As confirmed by a whole host of sources across the Spanish media on Friday, Isco will be included in Manuel Pellegrini’s squad to face Girona on Sunday.
Whether the experienced midfielder sees any actual time on the pitch, on the other hand, remains to be seen.
