Real Betis have announced the sacking of head coach Rubi after just one win in 11 games with the Andalusian club.
A defeat away to Athletic Club on Satuday was the final nail in the coffin for the former Espanyol boss, who won 10 games from 34 since taking over last July.
Former Betis player Alexis Trujillo will take charge of the first team until the end of the season. Betis currently sit 14th in the Primera Division.
