The board at La Liga outfit Real Betis have found an agreement on the terms of a contract renewal with manager Manuel Pellegrini.
That’s according to COPE, who have on Wednesday provided the latest on the situation.
The Betis hierarchy have long been locked in talks with the entourage of beloved boss Pellegrini, regarding his future with the club.
As much comes with the veteran tactician’s current contract terms due to expire at the end of the campaign.
The Verdiblancos, in turn, have been pushing Pellegrini to commit to a further year, through the summer of 2027.
And as alluded to above, this week, the Chilean is at last understood to have agreed to as much.
As per a report from COPE:
‘Manuel Pellegrini and the club have reached an agreement to extend his contract for another season, until 2027.’
An official announcement regarding the news will be forthcoming over the weeks ahead, upon the final details of the deal being ironed out, and signed off on.
