Real Betis continue to work on the signing of Argentine midfielder Guido Rodriguez from Club America.
According to reports in Diario AS, Betis head coach Rubi is confident of completing the deal, with the Mexican club expected to retain a 20 percent ownership stake in the player.
“It will be for now or it will be for later, but he’s a player that Betis are already close to signing,” Rubi said on Saturday.
“I won’t say that it’s in the bag, but the will of everyone is that this signing is completed. We’re hoping that it happens now, it’s what the club are working very hard to do.”
