Real Betis handed timely injury boost for Villarreal clash

La Liga outfit Real Betis have this week been afforded some altogether timely positive news on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that Sofyan Amrabat has returned to group training in Seville.

Midfielder Amrabat was for his part forced to sit out Betis’ final outing heading into the October international break.

This came owing to an unspecified fitness problem, which also saw the former Manchester United man miss both of Morocco’s fixtures over the last week.

As alluded to above, though, on Wednesday, the situation took a turn for the better.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘Sofyan Amrabat has already trained normally this Wednesday with the rest of his Real Betis teammates at the Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol.’

The expectation, in turn, is that Amrabat will be at the disposal of manager Manuel Pellegrini for the Verdiblancos’ crunch La Liga meeting with fellow high-flyers Villarreal on Saturday evening.
