Real Betis handed positive Isco update

La Liga outfit Real Betis have on Friday been afforded some altogether welcome news on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that Isco has taken a significant step forward in his recovery from injury.

Midfielder Isco has for his part been sidelined since early August, owing to a fibula fracture suffered in Malaga.

The former Real Madrid man has in turn been forced to sit out the early weeks of Real Betis’ 2025/26 campaign.

And though Manuel Pellegrini’s troops have done a solid job in Isco’s absence, the 33-year-old’s ability to add an extra ounce of quality in the attacking third has been missed.

All of a Verdiblancos persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be delighted to hear of the latest word stemming from Seville.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘This Friday, he was seen walking barefoot and without crutches on the pitch at the Luis del Sol Sports City.’

Though plenty of work remains to be done, Isco, in turn, can be considered as being one step closer to marking his long-awaited return to the pitch.
