An interesting statistic, highlighting the balanced creative excellence of Barcelona wingers Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, has this weekend come to the fore online.
This comes by way of an insight into the assist numbers racked up by the two players since the former’s senior Blaugrana bow.
Lamine and Raphinha are of course two of the most pivotal cogs in the Barcelona machine.
From their respective berths out wide, the Spaniard and Brazilian lit up Spanish football last season, combining for over 100 goal contributions en route to a domestic treble.
This included a collective 50 assists across all competitions.
And as alluded to above, late this week, such creative excellence has given rise to a noteworthy statistic.
As revealed by Squawka, since Lamine took to the pitch for his senior debut back in April of 2023, he has racked up 20 La Liga assists in 76 appearances.
Attacking partner in crime Raphinha, meanwhile, has managed a marginally superior ratio, of 21 assists in 74 appearances.
