Barcelona star Raphinha has taken to social media on Wednesday, to send a message of encouragement the way of teammate and attacking partner in crime Lamine Yamal.
This of course comes fresh off one of the more challenging evenings of the youngster’s fledgling career to date.
Barcelona made the trip to Italy on Tuesday, locking horns with Inter Milan with a spot in the finale of the Champions League on the line.
As the clash rolled into injury-time, the Blaugrana looked all set to book their place in the Munich showpiece, leading Inter by three goals to two.
Simone Inzaghi’s hosts, though, had other ideas, first levelling things up to send the clash to extra-time, before notching the tie’s winner through Davide Frattesi.
The manner of their eventual defeat left Barcelona’s players looking understandably crestfallen, chief amongst them the aforementioned Lamine.
The 17-year-old was one of the first of Hansi Flick’s squad to take to social media in the game’s aftermath, though, unveiling a defiant message of encouragement for the Blaugrana faithful.
And as alluded to above, teammate Raphinha has since provided his response to as much.
Taking to the comments section of Lamine’s Instagram post, Brazilian international Raphinha wrote:
‘You will give a lot to this club, hold your head high. You are the best, and you will make the fans of this team very happy, and you will give them everything they deserve.’
