The representative of Paris Saint-Germain star Achraf Hakimi has this week admitted that his client could be open to the prospect of a move back to Real Madrid.
This comes with the Morrocan fresh off grabbing the headlines once more, courtesy of being named African Player of the Year.
Hakimi for his part spent the early years of his career developing on the book of Real Madrid.
Since, he has gone on to enjoy thoroughly productive spells with all of Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan and, most recently, PSG.
With the latter, the explosive right-back has taken his game to a new level entirely, playing a starring role in the French heavyweights’ first-ever Champions League title last season.
As alluded to above, though, Hakimi nevertheless appears to maintain a special place in his heart for Real Madrid.
Drawn on a potential return to Spain’s capital during an interview with Sportmediaset this week, the 27-year-old’s agent admitted:
“Achraf is completely focused on his recovery after his injury and on his return to the pitch. He is happy in Paris, where he has a contract until 2029, but in football, nothing is impossible. Real Madrid is his home.”
