La Liga giants Barcelona are being pushed hard by their counterparts at Paris Saint-Germain, over the club’s return to the Spotify Camp Nou.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Thursday provided an insight into the situation.
Barcelona of course suffered a fresh setback in their efforts to return to the club’s beloved home ground earlier this week.
Amid ongoing delays in the renovation process, the Blaugrana were forced to move their first home fixture of the 2025/26 campaign to the Estadi Johann Cruyff.
Not only that, but it is also considered unlikely that the stadium will be ready to host Getafe on September 21st.
And in the knowledge of as much, those in the boardroom at the aforementioned PSG have begun putting the pressure on Joan Laporta and co.
As per a report from Sport, ahead of the planned Champions League showdown between the European heavyweights in Catalunya’s capital early next month:
‘In recent days, PSG have pushed hard for the European clash to be played at the Camp Nou, which further reinforces the need to arrive on time.’
