Barcelona star Eric García is in the sights of Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the winter transfer window.
This comes with the French heavyweights eyeing reinforcements at the back for the 2nd half of the campaign.
Eric is for his part due to see his contract terms at Barcelona expire in the summer of 2026.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing L’Équipe, Luis Enrique and co. are in turn eyeing a cut-price January swoop for the former Manchester City man.
It is also noted, though, that Eric as of this moment has no intention of departing Catalunya’s capital.
The 24-year-old has played an increasingly prominent role under the watch of manager Hansi Flick across the season to date, now considered one of the first names on the Barca team sheet.
Talks, in turn, are ongoing between Eric’s representatives and the Camp Nou brass, over the terms of a new long-term contract.
