Predicted Croatia XI vs Argentina

Croatia play Argentina in the first-semi final of the World Cup later today.

Croatia reached this stage of the competition by defeating Japan in the round of last 16 and Brazil in the quarter-finals. Both victories came after winning a penalty shoot-out.

Zlatko Dalić is predicted to include only one player from La Liga in his starting XI. Real Madrid’s Luka Modrić, the national team’s captain, will more than likely form Croatia’s midfield along with Marcelo Brozović and Mateo Kovačić.

Atlético Madrid’s second-choice keeper Ivo Grbić and Osasuna striker Ante Budimir will probably start the match on the bench.

The winner will play either France or Morocco in the final on Sunday.

Predicted Croatia lineup against Argentina

AS predict that Dalić will field the following starting XI against Argentina: Dominik Livaković – Josip Juranović, Joško Gvardiol, Borna Sosa – Luka Modrić, Marcelo Brozović, Mateo Kovačić – Mario Pašalić, Andrej Kramarić, Ivan Perišić.

The match is set to kick off at 8 pm CET.
