Predicted Barcelona XI vs Villarreal

Barcelona welcome Villarreal to Camp Nou on Thursday as they look to bounce back from their Clásico defeat to Real Madrid on Sunday.

GSFN have predicted this fixture to be the match of the week and we expect goals in Barcelona.

Héctor Bellerín has been included in the Blaugrana squad set to face Unai Emery’s side. The 27-year-old was sidelined with a muscle injury in his left leg for the past three weeks.

Alongside forward Memphis Depay, Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araújo remain on the sidelines for Xavi’s team.

The previous meeting between the two sides at Camp Nou went in favour of Villarreal (0-2) and Unai Emery will be hoping for only his fourth win in 30 games against Barcelona.

The Catalan side remain unbeaten at home this season, with three wins and a draw (0-0 against Rayo Vallecano).

According to AS, Barcelona are expected to line up as follows: Ter Stegen – Sergi Roberto, Koundé, Eric García, Jordi Alba – De Jong, Gavi, Pedri – Ferran Torres, Lewandowski, Ansu Fati.

Kickoff at Camp Nou gets underway at 9pm local time.
