Éder Militão: 8 – Superb defensively and on the ball. Gave Félix and co. little room to operate in.

David Alaba: 7

Ferland Mendy: 6.5

Aurélien Tchouaméni: 9 – Yet another monstrous defensive performance, made even sweeter with a delightful dinked assist to Rodrygo for the opener.

Luka Modrić: 7

Toni Kroos: 8 – Another metronomic performance as the heartbeat of the Real Madrid midfield.

Fede Valverde: 9 – An absolute engine. The catalyst for the first goal with his powerful run inwards. Scored the second after being first to the rebound. Four goals this season; already his best tally in any campaign of his career.

Rodrygo: 8 – Led the line, scored after a brilliant one-two with Tchouaméni and duly put on the dance.

Vinícius Jr: 7.5 – Enthusiastic on the left flank. Created the second goal, hitting the post before Valverde tucked home the rebound.
