Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk could not help but let out a laugh, upon being denied by a moment of brilliance on the part of Thibaut Courtois this evening.
This comes after the Real Madrid goalkeeper produced another stellar save to hold the Premier League champions at bay.
After a corner from the left made its way onto the head of Van Dijk at point-blank range, the Dutchman looked certain to score.
Courtois’ remarkable reactions, however, allowed the former Chelsea man to push the header over the crossbar.
And Van Dijk, as showcased below, could not quite believe his luck:
This marked just one of a whole host of wonderful saves conjured up by Courtois to this point in proceedings at Anfield.
Los Blancos nevertheless find themselves behind on the scoresheet, though, after Alexis Mac Allister broke free to nod home from a set-piece on the hour mark.
