The latest brilliance conjured up by Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal on the international stage this evening did not go at all unappreciated by fellow Blaugrana star Pedri.
The name of wide-man Lamine has of course positioned itself front and centre in the headlines across the continent once more late on Tuesday.
As much comes after the 16-year-old was responsible for a Goal of the Tournament contender in Spain’s meeting with France.
With his side a goal down, and a place in the Euro 2024 final on the line, Lamine took the responsibility of a nation on his shoulders.
Cutting inside onto his trusty left foot, the attacking prodigy bent the most stunning of efforts beyond the clutches of Mika Maignan, and home.
And, even for one of those who sees Lamine in action on a near-daily basis, as much came as a shock.
Watching on from the sidelines whilst dealing with his latest injury, fellow Barcelona star Pedri was spotted looking nothing short of baffled, a photo of which can be seen below:
