A member of the loan army at La Liga champions Barcelona early this week reconvened with a former teammate in Catalunya’s capital.
The player in question? Ansu Fati.
Wide-man Ansu has of course seen his name dominate the headlines in Spain and France alike over recent weeks.
This comes with the 22-year-old having made use of a loan stint with AS Monaco to rediscover his goalscoring touch.
All told, across his last five appearances in all competitions, Ansu has found the net six times.
Much of the attacker’s life, though, remains in the city where he developed as a player and person alike: Barcelona.
Ansu, for example, is known to maintain close friendships with several leading members of Hansi Flick’s Blaugrana squad.
And as alluded to above, over the last 24 hours, the Spaniard linked back up with one such player.
Afforded some time off over the international break, Ansu made use of the opportunity to spend some time with none other than the injured Gavi:
