Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham was left in a state of awe after witnessing the brilliance of teammate Federico Valverde this evening.
This comes after the Uruguayan conjured up one of the all-time great Champions League performances in the first-half of Los Blancos’ latest outing.
Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action on the continent.
In the first leg of their Champions League Last-16 tie, Álvaro Arbeloa’s troops have welcomed Manchester City to Spain’s capital.
And as things stand, it is the aforementioned Fede Valverde who stands as the star of the show.
Inside the opening 45 minutes this evening, the Uruguayan was responsible for a frankly jaw-dropping hat-trick.
The last of his three goals was arguably the pick of the bunch, as Valverde clipped a deft touch in the air before picking out the far bottom corner with an inch-perfect volley.
And as alluded to above, amongst those left nothing short of shellshocked by what he was witnessing was Jude Bellingham.
In the stands at the Santiago Bernabéu amid his ongoing injury recovery efforts, the Englishman was spotted with his mouth agape upon replays showcasing Valverde’s moment of magic:
