Photo: Hansi Flick’s reaction to Robert Lewandowski’s penalty miss vs Atlético

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick was left looking understandably frustrated, after seeing his side fluff their lines from the penalty spot on Tuesday evening.

Barcelona are of course currently locked in action, in a crunch La Liga showdown with Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid.

With 45 minutes on the clock, the two sides are deadlocked, at a goal apiece.

This comes after Álex Baena’s opener was swiftly cancelled out by Barcelona wide-man Raphinha.

As alluded to above, though, the evening’s hosts since blew a golden opportunity to turn the scoreline on its head entirely.

After Dani Olmo was felled in the Atléti penalty area, Barca were awarded a spot-kick.

Robert Lewandowski stepped up to take responsibility from 12 yards, but only succeeded in directing his ensuing effort some way over the crossbar.

And manager Hansi Flick could not help but allow his frustrations with as much to show, jumping back in his seat with a wide grimace across his face:
