This, of course, comes as Barcelona and Atlético prepare to lock horns in a top-of-the-table clash.
One of the most highly-anticipated fixtures of the La Liga campaign to date is of course primed to play out in short order, when Hansi Flick’s faltering Barca face off with an Atléti outfit in the midst of a rampant run of form.
In the case of emerging triumphant, the winners on the evening are aware that they will head into the winter break boasting table-topping status.
The respective sets of players, in turn, have made their way to Montjuïc, ahead of the fast-approaching 9pm kick-off.
