Barcelona star Iñaki Peña was spotted at an airport in the city on Tuesday evening.
This comes ahead of an imminent Blaugrana departure for the 26-year-old.
It has of course long been common knowledge across Spain that Peña was set to be on the move before the summer is out.
As much comes with the summer arrival of Joan García having seen the shot-stopper fall ever further down the pecking order between the posts in Hansi Flick’s squad.
After a whole host of clubs were credited with a keen interest in Peña, one suitor are now understood to have beaten out the competition.
The outfit in question come in the form of Elche.
And as alluded to above, if the latest images stemming from Catalunya’s capital over the last 12 hours are anything to go by, then Peña’s move to the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero now appears to be closer than ever.
This comes after the Spaniard was spotted at the airport, ahead of boarding a flight to Alicante:
