Leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga’s two biggest clubs were spotted alongside one another at a fixture at the Africa Cup of Nations this past weekend.
The pair in question? Jules Koundé, and Aurélien Tchouaméni.
Spanish football’s stars are of course enjoying a well-earned break from competitive duties at present.
Afforded a week of rest for the festive period, players from across the La Liga landscape have spread across the globe, ahead of returning to the pitch later this week.
Many have made the trip to Morocco, to take in Africa’s most prestigious international tournament, the AFCON.
And as alluded to above, amongst those in attendance over the weekend were Barcelona and Real Madrid pair Jules Koundé, and Aurélien Tchouaméni.
The two France internationals linked up in the stands for the meeting between the Ivory Coast and Cameroon, which ultimately ended in a 1-1 draw.
