Pedri: “There’s still hope in the Champions League.”

Speaking to Barcelona’s official media channels, Pedri spoke about the glimmer of hope that remains in the Champions League ahead of tonight’s clash with Bayern Munich.

“We weren’t expecting this to happen in the Champions League. But what happened has happened and it’s a shame. But we still have a tiny bit of hope depending on the result between Viktoria Plzen and Inter Milan.

“We’ll have to wait and see what happens but we know it’s difficult. But as long as there’s a chance, we have to believe. We need to get lucky and be ready for it if we do.”

Bayern are leading the way in Group C, picking up 12 points and scoring 13 goals in their first four matches. Barcelona are third in the standings with four points. Barça need to win both their final matches and hope Inter (7 points) fail to win either of their remaining matches.
