Barcelona star Pedri has moved to reveal his appreciation for up-and-coming teammate Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández.
This of course comes amid something of a breakout campaign for the young midfielder in Catalunya’s capital.
Speaking during an interview on the ‘xBuyer’ YouTube channel this week (as cited by Diario Sport), Pedri was asked to name the Barcelona youngster whom he feels is the most exciting prospect.
And the 22-year-old did not hesitate in highlighting the aforementioned Dro:
“The one I like the most is Dro, he is very good, he has a lot of quality and it seems that it is not difficult for him to do things.”
Youngster Dro, a 17-year-old attack-minded midfielder/winger, broke onto the first-team picture in Barcelona this past summer.
And the Spaniard has since gone on to impress the Blaugrana’s staff, fans and players alike, courtesy of a stellar blend of touch, technique, vision, eye for goal and composure far beyond his tender years.
