Former Mancester United and Juventus star Paul Pogba has this week moved to reveal his appreciation for the talents of a member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona.
The player in question? Lamine Yamal.
Wide-man Lamine is for his part of course fresh off a spectacular campaign in 2024/25.
En route to a domestic treble for Barcelona, the 17-year-old, despite his tender years, played nothing short of a starring role.
All told, from his berth on the right wing, Lamine racked up 18 goals and a whopping 25 assists.
And safe to say, such exploits did not go at all unappreciated on the part of the aforementioned Paul Pogba.
Speaking during an appearance on the podcast of former Barcelona frontman Sergio Agüero (as cited by Diario Sport), midfielder Pogba began:
“He’s incredible, a crack.
The Frenchman continued:
“What impresses me most about him is that he has a football IQ above his age. He always does what he has to do. To do that at his age is crazy. It’s cold on the pitch, he’s nailing it.”
