La Liga outfit Osasuna have on Wednesday been forced to sweat over the wellbeing of a key member of the club’s first-team ranks.
This comes amid confirmation that Jon Moncayola was forced into a premature departure from training this morning.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, versatile midfielder Moncayola pulled up with ‘discomfort in his left adductor muscle’.
As much culminated in the 27-year-old departing the training pitch, to head for a round of treatment.
It now remains to be seen if he is facing up to any kind of incoming spell on the sidelines.
Moncayola has for his part played a leading role for Osasuna over the course of the season to date, across a number of roles on the pitch.
All told, the Spaniard has featured from the off in all 12 of the Rojillos’ La Liga fixtures.
Any extended absence for Moncayola over the weeks ahead would therefore mark a heavy blow for manager Alessio Lisci.
