A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has maintained a remarkable passing accuracy percentage across the season to date.
That’s according to Diario AS, who point towards Dani Ceballos as the player in question.
Former Arsenal man Ceballos has of course spent recent weeks carving out for himself a more prominent role in the plans of new manager Xabi Alonso.
Previously considered nothing but a backup option, the 29-year-old has been afforded starts in three of Real Madrid’s last four fixtures.
This uptick in playing time comes owing chiefly to the level of his performances, with Ceballos bringing an unique element of calm and poise to Los Blancos’ engine room.
And as alluded to above, such ongoing excellence has early this week been aptly summed up by one statistic.
As revealed by AS, Ceballos has averaged a remarkable 96% passing accuracy in La Liga in 2025/26.
