A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has been in nothing short of superb form on the ball over the last week.
The player in question? Pau Cubarsí.
Youngster Cubarsí was for his part in from the off once more on Saturday, as Barcelona played host to Girona in their post-international break return to the pitch.
And en route to an eventual 2-1 Blaugrana triumph, the 18-year-old continued to impress.
In fact, whilst in possession, Cubarsí managed a head-turning pass completion percentage of 98.
Remarkably, as much comes just days on from the stopper managing the same feat whilst plying his trade with Spain.
After Spain welcomed Georgia to Alicante for a World Cup qualifier, Cubarsí was again responsible for a stellar 98% pass completion rate.
As per ‘Rising Stars XI’ on ‘X’, this means that Barca’s defensive prodigy has now managed a rate of 90% or better when it comes to finding teammates in each of his last five outings across all competitions.
