One Barcelona star has already been in pre-season training for 15 days

A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona has long kicked into gear personal preparations for the season ahead.

That’s according to Què T’hi Jugues of Cadena SER, who point to Ferran Torres as the player in question.

Frontman Ferran was for his part of course forced to sit out the final weeks of Barcelona’s triumphant 2024/25 campaign.

This came after the former Manchester City man was forced to undergo emergency surgery for a case of appendicitis.

Prior to as much, Ferran had enjoyed a thoroughly productive year, pushing Robert Lewandowski for a starting berth courtesy of an impressive haul of 19 goals and seven assists.

And evidently, the versatile attacker is eager to get out of the blocks in similarly fine fashion next time out.

This comes amid confirmation on the part of the aforementioned Què T’hi Jugues that:

‘Ferran Torres has already started the preseason: he’s been training for 15 days now.’

The rest of Hansi Flick’s squad are due to return to work in Catalunya’s capital in two weeks’ time.
