Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has been left thoroughly impressed by the efforts of three young talents during pre-season training, with one having stood out above all others.
That’s according to Què T’hi Jugues, who have on Friday provided an insight into the situation.
Barcelona of course kickstarted the club’s preparations for the new campaign earlier this week.
Fresh off a thoroughly productive debut season under the watch of new boss Flick, the Blaugrana’s star-studded squad reunited at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Monday.
Joining the more high-profile members of the club’s first-team setup were a number of up-and-coming young talents, with a total of 36 players having been called upon.
And as alluded to above, across the week to date, three of this young crop of starlets have caught the attention of Hansi Flick and his staff.
As per a report from Què T’hi Jugues:
‘Hansi Flick is very pleased with Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández, Jan Virgili, and Jofre Torrents, who are training with the first team this preseason.
‘Jan Virgili is the one who impresses the German coach the most.’
Virgili, for his part, is a gifted 18-year-old winger/forward, considered by many in Catalunya’s capital to be a potential star in the making.
