On-loan Real Madrid star Franco Mastantuono has this week named his favourite current member of José Mourinho’s squad.
Attacking midfielder/winger Mastantuono was for his part granted a temporary departure from Spain’s capital this past summer.
After a difficult debut campaign in the colours of Real Madrid following his arrival from his home country of Argentina, the youngster was farmed out on a season-long loan to Serie A outfit Fiorentina.
Mastantuono has since gone on to rediscover his confidence in Italy, with 10 league starts already to his name, culminating in four goals.
This week, the Argentine therefore sat down for an interview with DAZN (as cited by Marca), to talk through life in Serie A, his Real Madrid prospects and more.
And one particular answer provided by Mastantuono has since turned heads back in Spain’s capital. This comes with the 19-year-old having admitted:
“I love Bellingham; he’s my favourite player at Real Madrid! Although there’s Vinícius, Mbappé, Valverde, and Brahim, who are also fantastic. Now Diomandé, Espí. They have a great team.”
