A member of the loan army at La Liga champions Barcelona on Sunday continued to turn heads with his efforts in the final third.
The player in question? Héctor Fort.
Youngster Fort is for his part currently in the midst of a season-long loan with newly-promoted Elche.
The 19-year-old endured a difficult start to his stint in Alicance, struggling for form and game time alike.
As alluded to above, though, over recent weeks, Fort has begun to turn things around in altogether impressive fashion.
Playing an increasingly prominent role in Elche’s XI as a right wing-back, the defender just this week guided his new club into the 3rd round of the Copa del Rey, courtesy of a last-gasp winner.
And on Sunday, Fort’s upturn in form only continued…
In from the off again for Elche’s La Liga meeting with Girona, the Spaniard laid on the assists for both of the Franjiverdes’ first two goals, en route to a 3-0 win.
The kind of production which will no doubt have been taken full note of back at parent club Barcelona.
