Valencia have on Sunday announced the signing of a member of the attacking ranks at La Liga rivals Villarreal.
The player primed to take his talents to Mestalla for the seasons ahead? Arnaut Danjuma.
The name of winger Danjuma had of course emerged as an altogether prominent one in the Spanish transfer chatter across the week to date.
This came after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the aforementioned Valencia had kicked into gear talks with Villarreal over a potential deal for the Dutchman.
Danjuma is for his part fresh off another loan spell away from La Ceràmica, having spent the 2024/25 campaign on the books of Girona.
As alluded to above, though, this weekend, the 28-year-old’s time in Villarreal colours has been brought to a definitive end.
As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of Valencia:
‘Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Villarreal CF for the signing of Arnaut Danjuma.
‘The 28-year-old Dutch striker strengthens Valencia’s forward line and arrives at Camp de Mestalla with a contract for the next three seasons, until June 2028.’
