La Liga outfit Valencia have early this week announced a deal to add to the club’s options between the posts. This comes by way of confirmation that Kayne van Oevelen has joined Los Che on loan from Ipswich Town.
Van Oevelen, for his part, is a 23-year-old Dutch goalkeeper, who has spent the last couple of years building a stellar reputation for himself in his home country of the Netherlands.
The Zaandam native spent the last two seasons plying his trade as no.1 for FC Volendam, culminating in a move to the Premier League with newly-promoted Ipswich Town this summer.
Just a month on from taking his talents to England, though, Van Oevelen is this week on the move once more. As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of the aforementioned Valencia:
‘Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Ipswich Town FC for the signing of Kayne van Oevelen.
‘The 23-year-old Dutch goalkeeper (Zaandam, 07/08/2003) arrives on loan for the current season and will strengthen the competition in goal.’
