The squad of players called upon by La Liga champions Barcelona for the club’s upcoming showdown with Espanyol has been unveiled online.
And it features a pair of altogether noteworthy inclusions.
The first comes in the form of midfielder Pedri, sidelined for the latest occasion prior to the festive period owing to a muscular complaint.
And joining Pedri back in the fray for the evening is fellow Spanish international and midfield partner Dani Olmo.

Hansi Flick’s Barca will of course head into Saturday’s Derbi Barceloní sitting pretty atop the La Liga table.
This comes amid a run of seven successive victories across all competitions, stretching back to late November.
Upcoming hosts Espanyol, though, will fancy their chances of an upset at the expense of their city rivals, in the thick of a stretch of five wins from five in Spain’s top-flight.
