Official: Two new signings included as Real Madrid name Club World Cup squad

The squad of players set to be depended upon by La Liga giants Real Madrid at the upcoming Club World Cup has on Wednesday been unveiled.

And it features a whole host of noteworthy inclusions.

Real Madrid are of course primed to kick their endeavours at the newly-formatted Club World Cup into gear this day next week.

In the first outing of the Xabi Alonso era in Spain’s capital, Los Blancos will lock horns with Saudi champions Al-Hilal.

From here, further group stage fixtures will be played out against Pachuca and Red Bull Salzburg.

And as alluded to above, this evening, the group of players set to board Real Madrid’s private plane to the USA over the days ahead was announced.

New signings Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen are both included, alongside the likes of the departing Luka Modrić, and youngsters Yusi, Chema, Diego Aguado, and Gonzalo García.
