The nominees for the August Player of the Month award at La Liga giants Real Madrid have been unveiled online.
And the list features a number of high-profile names, as well as a summer addition to Xabi Alonso’s squad.
Real Madrid are of course fresh off what has been an altogether productive opening to the new campaign.
Across three outings to date, Los Blancos have rattled off three victories, notching six goals whilst conceding just once at the other end.
A whole host of players contributed to as much, a real team effort on the part of Alonso’s squad.
Only five such stars, though, were eligible to be put forward for the Player of the Month award in Spain’s capital.
And as alluded to above, on Thursday, they have been officially revealed online.
As showcased below, the five-man shortlist consists of Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Jr, Dean Huijsen, Arda Güler and Aurélien Tchouaméni.
