The winner of the Player of the Month award at La Liga giants Real Madrid has on Wednesday been confirmed.
The Blancos star honoured with the prize? Kylian Mbappé.
Frontman Mbappé is for his part fresh off another scintillating month in front of goal in January.
All told, across five appearances in all competitions, the Frenchman racked up a hefty seven goals, continuing to prove himself the most decisive figure in Real Madrid’s ranks.
It therefore came as little surprise when Mbappé was included amongst the five-man shortlist for Player of the Month revealed earlier this week.
The former PSG standout was joined by the quartet of Thibaut Courtois, Federico Valverde, Arda Güler and Vinícius Jr.
And as alluded to above, on Wednesday, Mbappé has officially beaten out the competition, to scoop his latest POTM accolade.
As much was announced across the social media platforms of ‘Mahou’ this evening, with the prolific goalscorer set to receive his trophy over the days ahead.
