Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has on Thursday secured for himself a highly-coveted individual accolade.
This comes amid confirmation of the Frenchman being named Champions League Player of the Week.
Frontman Mbappé is of course fresh off a spectacular performance on the continent yesterday evening.
Featuring from the off in Real Madrid’s meeting with Greek outfit Olympiacos, the 26-year-old proved himself the undisputed star of the show.
En route to Los Blancos bringing to an end a three-game winless streak across all competitions, Mbappé notched all four goals in a 4-3 triumph.
His poker featured an array of fine finished, from pinpoint efforts into the corners to a bullet header.
And as alluded to above, this afternoon, such endeavours have been aptly recognised.
As per a post across UEFA’s official social media platforms, Mbappé has been named Champions League Player of the Week, ahead of all of Vitinha, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Serhou Guirassy.
