La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Thursday announced a fresh personnel blow in the club’s midfield ranks.
This comes amid conifrmation that Aurélien Tchouaméni is set for an incoming spell on the sidelines through injury.
As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of Real Madrid:
‘Following tests carried out today on our player Aurélien Tchouameni by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the semitendinosus muscle in his left thigh. His recovery will be monitored.’
Tchouaméni for his part featured from the off on Tuesday night, as Real Madrid made the trip to England to lock horns with Liverpool in the Champions League.
En route to a 1-0 Blancos defeat, however, the former AS Monaco man suffered his latest injury setback.
Tchouaméni has since been left out of France’s national team squad for the November international break, facing up to a spell of several weeks on the sidelines moving forward.
