On-loan Real Madrid star Endrick has on Sunday secured his first starting berth in the colours of Olympique Lyonnais.
This comes as Lyon prepare to lock horns with Lille in the French Cup.
Frontman Endrick was of course granted a temporary departure from Spain’s capital earlier this month.
After struggling badly for game time under the watch of new headmaster Xabi Alonso across the season’s opening half, Real Madrid informed interested parties that their young striker would be available on loan for six months.
Lyon, in turn, beat out the competition, to strike an agreement with those in a position of power at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Endrick was afforded his first official call-up this weekend, for OL’s clash with the aforementioned Lille.
And as alluded to above, as much has since given rise to the 19-year-old’s very first start for his new club.
Endrick has been chosen to lead the line, as Paulo Fonseca’s troops set about securing for themselves a place in the Last-16 of the French Cup on Sunday night.
