La Liga giants Barcelona have on Friday announced the impending exit of a member of the club’s reserve team ranks.
This comes amid confirmation that Adrian Simon has agreed on the terms of a move to UE Cornellà.
Midfielder Simon is currently plying his trade on the books of Barca Atlètic.
Not in the plans of manager Juliano Belletti, however, the Blaugrana have long been searching for a solution to secure for the 19-year-old more regular playing time.
And as alluded to above, this week, such a solution has been found.
As per a statement across Barcelona’s social media platforms, Simon will soon join Spanish 5th division outfit UE Cornellà on loan.
The American actually made the move to Catalunya from Cornellà back in 2018, and is now all set for his 2nd stint at the Estadi Palamós Costa Brava.
Simon will first see out his recovery from a recent injury, before departing Barcelona for the duration of the campaign over the coming weeks.
