A sidelined member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has this weekend ben cleared to return to the pitch.
The player in question? Lamine Yamal.
Wide-man Lamine has for his part been forced to sit out each of Barcelona’s four fixtures since the international break.
As much comes owing to an injury setback suffered whilst plying his trade with Luis de la Fuente’s Spain.
The youngster was this week spotted back out on the grass ramping up his recovery efforts, giving rise to hope of a comeback against Real Sociedad this weekend.
And as alluded to above, on Sunday afternoon, the news which those of a Blaugrana persuasion were impatiently awaiting has indeed arrived.
As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of the La Liga champions:
‘Lamine Yamal has been medically cleared and is included in Barça’s squad for the match against Real Sociedad.’
