La Liga giants Barcelona have this week tied a highly-regarded member of the club’s youth ranks down to a new contract.
The player in question? Landry Farré.
Youngster Landry, for those not familiar with his name, is an 18-year-old defender who chiefly operates at right-back, but is also capable of filling a number of other positions at the back.
The Spanish youth international has long been considered a potential future star in the making in Catalunya’s capital.
As much culminated in a first-team call on the part of Hansi Flick for pre-season this past summer.
Safe to say, then, that all associated with Barcelona will no doubt be delighted to learn of the latest news surrounding Landry’s future.
This comes amid confirmation across the Blaugrana’s website and social media platforms that:
‘FC Barcelona and player Landry Farré have reached an agreement to extend the defender’s contract for two more seasons, so he will remain linked to the Club until June 30, 2028.’
